Ms. Axelrod is a partner in the firm's Bankruptcy practice group. Her practice focuses in the representation of Chapter 11 debtors, unsecured creditors' committees, purchasers of bankruptcy assets and secured creditors. Ms. Axelrod’s practice also encompasses valuation issues in complex litigation.

Ms. Axelrod has worked on some of the largest bankruptcy cases in the state of Nevada, including the Washington Group International, U.S. Aggregates, Inc. and nineteen of its affiliates, Stateline Hotel and Casino, Aladdin Gaming, Seven Circle Gaming Corporation, Pegasus Gold Corporation, Elisnore Corporation, Stratosphere Gaming Corporation, Fitzgeralds Gaming Corporation, Agribiotech and National Airlines.

Ms. Axelrod has represented a variety of clients including North American Deed Company, Inc., Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Nevada, Inc. in their filing of its Chapter 11 bankruptcies; representation of purchasers in 363 sales including Perfect Commerce, Inc. (In re PurchasePro.com) and Saturn Partners Limited Partnership (In re CompuSport, LLC); US Bank National Association NA in the Saxton, Inc bankruptcy; and secured creditor representation of Levy Ad Agency in the CMX Century Inc. Chapter 11 bankruptcies. Ms. Axelrod was previously with Beckley Singleton, which partnered with Lewis and Roca in 2007.
