Janet L. Chubb is a member of the Jones Vargas law firm in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. A 1967 graduate of Loyola University of Los Angeles, Ms. Chubb holds a bachelor’s of arts degree from La Sierra College and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University’s Los Angeles School of Law. She is certified as a business and consumer bankruptcy specialist by the American Board of Certification and is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. Ms. Chubb has served as President of the Northern Nevada Bankruptcy Bar Association, the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association, chaired the Bankruptcy Bar Section of the State Bar of Nevada, and is a former director of the American Board of Certification. She was a Ninth Circuit Lawyer Representative for three terms. Born in Bremerton, Washington, Ms. Chubb has lived in Nevada since 1974.
