Pamela Joy Ring founded The Ring Retail Advisory in 2007 after retiring from 22 years as co-founder, Executive Vice President and acting COO of a multi-sales channel, publicly traded, high-end specialty retailer, Gallery of History, Inc. (NASDAQ, SmallCap Market). Her expertise in strategic retail brand development and turnaround and sales management resulted in the company’s generation of $49MM cumulative sales of over 32,000 items. She is responsible for turning a niche collectible into an international retail industry. Ms. Ring has extensive experience in construction and merchandising, delivering a cross country, nine gallery build-out with a $3MM budget. Formerly an officer with Citibank and Marine Midland Bank of New York City, specializing in consumer retail banking and turnaround management in international and domestic commercial loan operations, she graduated from the Wharton School of Commerce and Finance of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and major in Marketing and she holds an MBA from New York University with a major in Finance. Ms. Ring apprenticed in the Executive Buying Program of Bloomingdales, New York. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
