Overview:

The Turnaround Management Association of Nevada will deliver tips on how to mitigate corporate public relations disasters in the face of a crisis or turnaround at its April 23 meeting - Damage Control: How to Manage PR in the Face of a Turnaround. Lisa A. Rose, Senior Managing Director for Dix & Eaton will be the keynote speaker with her presentation promising to deliver great life lessons that can be applied to any business large or small. Grant Armendariz, Regional Director for Business Wire will speak on techniques and technology for distributing press releases under the crisis fire. At heart in a corporate crisis, is how to create positive public spin so that it results in maintaining and growing customers and investors while solidifying the positive side of the corporate brand in the face of adversity. Our presenting experts have proven to add incalculable contributions to shareholder value and propagating the corporate brand.

Lisa A. Rose, CPA, member of the American Institute of CPAs and the National Relations Institute is a seasoned expert in the world of navigating public relations in the midst of crises. She is a Senior Managing Director of Dix & Eaton of Cleveland, Ohio, where she applies 20 years of professional experience in investor relations, corporate communications and accounting and finance challenges.

Grant Armendariz, a University of Pittsburgh Graduate, opened the Phoenix office of Business Wire in 1983, was Marketing Manager for the "Los Angeles Times" and returned in 2002 to head the Southwest office of Business Wire.

Cancellations/refunds may not be made on-line.

MORE THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE EVENT: Event registration(s) may be cancelled provided notice of cancellation is sent in writing to us by using filling out our contact form (choose "RSVP Change Notice") and received more than 7 calendar days before the Event. If cancellation is so received, a refund of any amount paid will be paid within 30 days after the Event. In lieu of cancellation, registration may be transferred to any other similar TMA NV Event held within twelve (12) months of the date of the original Event.

LESS THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE EVENT: Cancellations may not be made -- nor refunds issued. However, any registration may be transferred to any other employee or member of the same company or organization of the original registrant.

FAILURE TO ATTEND: Refunds or transfers may not be issued to any registrant who fails to attend a Event.
