Have You TMA'd Today?

This is my "tough love" message to my current membership. "Have you TMA'd today?" "What does that mean?" you ask. Well, I'll answer a question with a question: Have you posted your profile to our directory, which we have invested in search engine maximizing to promote you? Have you consistently attended our monthly events which attract top pedigree of influential panelists and attendees? Have you followed up on every contact you made at our events? Have you perused our national website and the national directory for potential business prospects? These are just a few points that answer the question: "Have you TMA'd today?"

TMA Nevada provides to its members a chance to make their own opportunities. We don't hand it to you on a silver platter it is up to you to create your own opportunities through your association with the organization. What you do with the contacts you make through it and by taking advantage of the benefits we formally offer to our members, is up to you.

As president, I am called relatively frequently from top flight professionals all over the country who are members of TMA and have business projects in Nevada and naturally think of wanting to use their TMA brethren first before going to an outsider. I am honor bound to offer at least three recommendations but more importantly I have our membership directory directly at my fingertips and at theirs to peruse the expertise that is required. If you don't have your profile up, how can I help you, how can you help you?

You have invested $300 for becoming a member. For my money and many of my renewing member colleagues there's been a payoff. My investment has generated qualified leads for my doing business. Think about how much would you have to invest to have an up close and personal opportunity to engage in conversation with the quality of people the organization has attracted?

Patience is a virtue...in the dynamic of great salesmanship, it is necessary to prospect for qualified leads, be persistent at building those leads and know that the percentages are in your favor in closing if you subscribe to patience, persistence and frequency.

Have you TMA'd today? If you optimize the opportunities we present to you and apply patience, persistence and frequency, you indeed will have TMA'd Today!

Your board of directors is in the midst of planning the launch of more member-exclusive events and opportunities. These efforts are designed to make it further compelling to be a member of TMA Nevada. From now until August 31, you can become a new TMA member for $175. Seems like a great deal to me if you are ready to seize the opportunities we afford you.
